Privacy Policy

How Hoogah handles your information.

Hoogah is an event networking platform. Organizers use it to check guests in, group the right people together, and send follow-ups. Doing that involves handling personal information, and this page explains what we collect, why, and what you can do about it.

What we collect

Contact details you give us directly — your name, work email, company, and job title — when you fill in a form on this site, register interest through an ad on platforms like LinkedIn or Meta, book a call, or email us.

Event information you provide as an organizer, such as event names, dates, and attendee questions you configure.

Attendee responses collected on behalf of organizers when guests register for an event that runs on Hoogah — the answers are used to group and introduce people at that event.

Basic usage data about how this website is used (pages visited, approximate location, device type), collected through standard analytics tools.

How we use it

To respond when you ask us to — setting up your event, answering a question, or following up on a form you submitted.

To run the product: matching and introducing attendees at events, sending event-related emails such as check-in confirmations and post-event follow-ups with shared contacts.

To improve Hoogah and understand which of our pages and campaigns are useful.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use attendee event answers for advertising.

Forms on LinkedIn and other platforms

When you submit a lead form inside LinkedIn, Meta, or a similar platform, that platform shares the details you agreed to share (typically your name, work email, job title, and company) with us so we can contact you about Hoogah. The platform's own privacy policy also applies to that submission.

Who we share it with

Service providers that help us operate — website hosting, email delivery, scheduling, analytics, and customer relationship tools. They process data on our instructions and only what they need to provide the service.

Event organizers, where you are an attendee of their event: your registration answers and shared contact details go to the organizer and the people you were grouped with, which is the point of the product.

Authorities, only if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

Lead and contact information is kept while we have an active conversation or business relationship with you, and removed when it is no longer needed.

Event data is kept while the organizer's account is active or as long as the organizer needs it for their event records.

Your choices

You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it — email khushi@hoogah.app and we will handle it.

Every marketing email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
